Does the thought of running into a burning building that everyone else is running out of appeal to you? Are you enticed by getting out of a nice warm bed in below freezing weather to respond on a vehicle accident or Automatic Fire Alarm? Are you willing to leave your loved ones during holidays, mealtime, and special occasions? If all of this sounds interesting to you then you may be eligible to become a Volunteer Firefighter.

The Penn Township Volunteer Fire Department is accepting applications for Firefighters, Jr. Firefighters, Fire Police, Support Personnel, and Social Members. The Penn Twp VFD offers an opportunity to gain skilled training in Fire Suppression, Vehicle Extrication, Hazmat, and Fire Safety Education.

People interested can click here, fill out the application, and mail it back to the Penn Twp VFD or stop by the firehouse any Monday night except holidays anytime between 7PM-10PM, our drill night.
